
Cinémezzo is an online film journal authored by Adam Cook, with occasional contributions from guest writers.
Adam lives in Vancouver, is an editor, contributor and programmer for MUBI, and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Film Studies at UBC.
He writes for the Notebook and has bylines in Cinema Scope, Filmmaker Magazine, De Filmkrant,La Furia Umana, Film Society of Lincoln Center and Criticwire. He is co-founder and co-editor of The Parallax, a locally-based print (and online) film journal, along with co-founders Brian Ganter & Kurt Walker. Adam has been part of the International Screening Committee for the Vancouver International Film Festival since 2010, and contributes liner notes to the festival’s program guide. He also volunteers at the Pacific Cinémathèque.
Other than movies, Adam enjoys sushi, air hockey & Shiba Inu Puppy Cam.
